I’m trying to promote and publish my book, and hopefully start a Nonprofit Daycare Center for kids with special needs; along with that I am sharing my lifestyle with this disability in hopes of helping others who have physical disabilities as well, I would like to show them and prove to them that “Just because you have a disability, doesn’t make you less of a person. You’re just different and different is okay.”
Plans for my Future One Day
Go to the local Technician College and get my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and hopefully in Business Management as well. That will hopefully be my first two years, from there I’m hoping to get my Bachelor’s Degree or higher (if that’s possible) in both Childcare and Business.
As I’m doing this I would like get certified in the different types of First Aid/CPR training it would take to be around young children, especially children with physical challenges. Goal: (Depending on how far I go in college) I’m hoping to be doing with both degrees and First Aid/CPR training in two years.
IDEA: Nonprofit Daycare Center For Kids with Physical Disabilities
My idea with this Nonprofit Daycare Center is that, it’s to help parents who have kids with a physical disability not having to worry about a safe place for their kids or having to get a caregiver. My idea would be that we make all that available as a Nonprofit Organization, because the only thing a parent should worry about is seeing their kids smile. The environment would be filled with highly trained staff, in the medical field and in childcare. We could also offer a bit of in house Daycare if you don’t feel comfortable with your child leaving the house.
